SKYPE conference - Tourism

On the first Skype Meeting we asked questions to each other. There are some expressions of our Spanish friends:  

1. Do you like travelling? Why or why not?
Pal and Alex: “Yes, because it is very interesting and we can see new places.” 
Anna and Yas: “We love to travel, because it’s exciting to go sightseeing new places.”
Joel: “Yes, you can meet new people.”  

2. What places have you travelled to in your country? Describe where they are and what’s special about them?
Pal and Alex: “We were in Barcelona. We saw FC Barcelona stadium and Sagrada Familia.”
Anna and Yas: “In our country we have beautiful beaches and cities like Barcelona.”
Joel: “I was in Madrid, it’s the capital of Spain, it has many pretty places.”  

3. What was your favorite trip and why?
Pal and Alex: “We were with class in the Florence and Roma.”
Joel: “I was on in the Majorca with my basketball team.”  

4. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why would you like to go there?
Pal and Alex: “We would travel to the Paris, because we wanted to see the Eiffel Tower.”
Joel: “I want to go to Australia. I like the cities and people there.”  

5. Have you ever had to speak English on holiday or to an English-speaking tourist in your country? What was the experience like?
Joel: “Yes, but not very much. It was stressful.”

6. What foreign languages do you speak apart from English?
Joel: “I speak Spanish and Catalan.” 

7. Any additional information:
Pal and Alex: They are fans of FC Barcelona and they are brothers.
Joel: He loves FC Barcelona.
